Customer Reviews
Solid tool, small improvements
I signed up for Clipscribe to get the automated subtitles for some training videos. The transcription was surprisingly accurate most of the time, definitely saved me a lot of manual work. I appreciated the video resizing tool; it made adapting content for different platforms much quicker. Customer service was responsive when I had a question about exporting SRT files. The only minor thing was that some of the custom font options felt a bit limited compared to what I'm used to in other design tools. Overall, it's a good value for what it offers, and it gets the job done efficiently, but a wider font selection would be a plus.
Reliable for captions
Been using Clipscribe for a while now, mostly for the automated subtitles and video headlines. This last time I put through a longer video, about 10 minutes, and the transcription was still pretty accurate, just like before. I've tried a couple other services, but I keep coming back here because it's consistent. The progress bar feature is a nice touch for my LinkedIn posts. Always works without a hitch for me.
Good for social videos
I used Clipscribe to add automated subtitles and a progress bar to a few short videos for Instagram. The interface was straightforward for uploading my video and getting the captions generated. The subtitle styling options were decent, letting me pick a font and color that matched my brand. I liked how easy it was to resize the video to square format too. Delivery was instant, obviously, since it's a web tool. Support replied within a day when I had a question about custom fonts. It did take a little fiddling to get the exact look I wanted, but overall, it made my videos look more professional for social media. No major complaints, it did what it said it would.
Easy video stuff
Needed to put captions on a quick video for Facebook. Clipscribe was super easy to use, just uploaded, it did its thing, and boom, captions. Had my video ready in like 15 minutes. It even made it vertical for TikTok. Nice and simple.

Hey, wondering if anyone has experience with Clipscribe vs. Kapwing for adding captions? I do a lot of short-form stuff for TikTok and Insta.
Anyone know if Clipscribe has a lifetime deal going on right now? Saw something about it on AppSumo a while back.
Is there a free trial for Clipscribe? Wanna test it out before committing to a subscription.
How accurate is the transcription service on Clipscribe? I make videos with a lot of specific terminology and want to avoid tons of manual corrections.
